1. Shauna (Aquacorde Town (near Vaniville Town), Kalos)

Your friend Shauna wants you to be her opponent in her battling debut.

2. Sina (Lumiose City, Kalos)

Sina takes you to meet Professor Sycamore, who wants to battle you himself.

Sina, one of the professor's assistants, brings you to Professor Sycamore in Lumiose City. He challenges you personally. Note the story data does not define a fixed team for this Sycamore battle.

3. Trevor (Route near Cyllage City, Kalos)

Trevor's dance-obsessed friend Tierno wants to battle and show off new moves.

Trevor relays that Tierno would rather battle than practice. Tierno, all about dance, fights you with Politoed, Hitmontop, Ludicolo, Raichu and Blastoise.

4. Fossil Researcher (Glittering Cave (near Ambrette Town), Kalos)

A Fossil Researcher's finds are being stolen by Team Flare in the Glittering Cave. Stop the grunt.

In the fossil-filled Glittering Cave a researcher pleads for help as Team Flare tries to make off with the fossils. You defeat a Flare Grunt whose team is Croagunk, Scraggy, Fletchling, Bunnelby and Pansear, and are allowed to keep the fossils.

5. Mega Evolution Guru (Tower of Mastery, Shalour City, Kalos)

The Mega Evolution Guru sends you upstairs to battle the Mega Evolution Successor, Korrina.

At the Tower of Mastery the Guru explains that only trainers with a close bond can Mega Evolve, then directs you to Korrina. She battles you with a single, powerful Lucario.

6. Serena (Coumarine City, Kalos)

Your rival Serena wants to measure your Pokemon's potential.

7. Powerplant Worker (Kalos Power Plant (Route 13), Kalos)

Team Flare is stealing all of Lumiose City's power. A worker asks you to stop them, and you face the scientist Aliana.

At the Kalos Power Plant Team Flare is siphoning the region's electricity. After clearing the workers, the Flare scientist Aliana battles you with Houndoom, Swalot, Mightyena, Toxicroak, Scrafty and Golbat.

8. Quest Shauna (Pokeball Factory (near Laverre City), Kalos)

Shauna cannot get into the Pokeball Factory. Investigate and drive out Team Flare's Celosia.

Shauna wants to visit the Pokeball Factory but Team Flare has blocked it off to steal every Pokeball. Inside, the Flare scientist Celosia battles you with Liepard, Houndoom, Manectric, Mightyena, Golbat and Swalot.

9. Flare Mable (Frost Cavern (near Dendemille Town), Kalos)

The Flare scientist Mable is harnessing a Pokemon's energy in the Frost Cavern.

Team Flare's leader Lysandre is about to fire the ultimate weapon. Stop him.

11. Rival Trevor (Couriway Town, Kalos)

Your friend Trevor wants a real battle now, not just a Pokedex comparison.

After Kalos is saved, Professor Sycamore points you toward a mysterious giant who wants to battle: AZ.

Serena returns home for one final rival battle with her strongest team.
