Exchanges¶
The exchanges let you turn spare Pokemon into shop currency. There are two separate systems, each with its own points and its own shop:
- Legend Exchange: trade in Legendary, Mythical, and Ultra Beast Pokemon for Legend Points.
- Shiny Exchange: trade in shiny Pokemon for Shiny Points.
The two currencies are separate. You cannot spend Legend Points in the Shiny shop or the other way around.

Your Shiny Points balance is shown inside the Shiny Exchange menu. When you gift Legend Points the amount must be at least 1, you must have enough, and you cannot send them to yourself.
Legend Exchange¶
Earning Legend Points¶
Click the Nether Star in the shop to open the Exchange Legendary Pokemon menu, then click a Legendary, Mythical, or Ultra Beast in your party. Doing so permanently deletes that Pokemon and pays out its point value. You cannot exchange your last remaining party Pokemon.
Two bonuses stack on top of the base value:
- A special palette (any look other than the standard one) adds +25 points.
- Shiny doubles the total (applied after the +25).
Phione and 
Manaphy are special cases: shiny, either is worth a flat 250 at any level; not shiny, either is worth 25 but only at level 75 or higher (below level 75 they cannot be exchanged).

Shiny Exchange¶
