Mega Evolution and Gigantamax¶
Mega Evolution lets a Pokemon temporarily transform in battle while holding its Mega Stone. This server has a dedicated Mega Stone shop, mega drops from bosses, and giant Mega and Gigantamax forms that show up on world bosses.
Mega Evolution¶
A Pokemon holding the right Mega Stone for its species (like Venusaurite for Venusaur) can Mega Evolve during a battle. Each species has its own stone.
Where to find Mega Stones¶
- The Mega Mart. Right-click the mega stone shop NPC to open it. Every entry costs $100,000, and it stocks close to 50 Mega Stones plus Soul Dew.
- Mystery chests. Mega Stones appear in the chest reward tables, including the dedicated Mega Bag reward.
- Dungeon loot. Themed Mega Stones turn up in dungeon boss chests.
- Skyblock ranch. A high-tier ranch machine can forge a random non-legendary Mega Stone.
- Boss drops. Bosses that spawn in a Mega form drop the matching Mega Stone. Medium bosses (always Mega forms) give the stone to every participant, and Hard boss mini-bosses have a 1 in 10 chance to drop one per participant.
A dungeon storage item, the Mega Backpack, lets you keep your whole Mega Stone collection in one place.
Mega and Alpha bosses¶
Wild Mega bosses appear on the world boss timer, and defeating one in its Mega form drops its stone.
Alpha bosses are oversized boss Pokemon that spawn around players in the Overworld, Nether, End, and Ultra Space. They always battle at level 200. Alphas appear more often the more players are online, and only spawn near a player who has trained the Battling skill to at least level 20. When an Alpha rolls a species that has a Mega form, it appears as a Mega Alpha in that transformed shape.
Gigantamax and Dynamax¶
The biggest bosses on the server use these forms as gimmicks. On the opening waves of a World Boss Raid, the boss can appear in its Gigantamax form (or, for Pokemon without one, a supersized Dynamax form), before the raid moves on to the shadow tiers.
In gym battles, the battle style follows the region: Galar gyms are Dynamax battles and Kalos gyms are Mega battles. Gyms in every other region allow Mega Evolution on rematch, but not on your first clear. A Pokemon with G-Max Factor uses its exclusive G-Max move in place of its regular max moves when it Gigantamaxes.
