Lottery

Buy $10,000 tickets, and one player wins the whole pot at noon each day. The more tickets you hold, the higher your chance to win.

How to access

Run /lottery to see the prize pool, the time until the draw, and clickable lines to buy 1, 5, or 10 tickets.

Command What it does
/lottery Show the prize pool, time until the draw, and buy links

/lotterytickets Check how many tickets you hold and your current win chance
/claimlottery Claim winnings you have banked from a past draw

Buying tickets

  • Each ticket costs $10,000, paid from your bank balance.
  • You buy 1 to 10 tickets at a time, up to a cap of 100 tickets per player for a single day's draw.
  • Your win chance is your tickets divided by all tickets sold, so buying more raises your odds directly.

The draw

  • The lottery draws once a day at noon, server time.
  • The winner is chosen at random but weighted by tickets: every ticket is one entry, so holding more tickets makes you proportionally more likely to win.
  • If nobody has entered by noon, the draw is skipped and the pot rolls forward.

The prize pool

The pot starts from a guaranteed base and grows with every ticket sold:

Part Amount
Base seed $100,000
Per ticket sold +$10,000

There is no house cut. The full base plus all ticket money goes to the winner. For example, if 40 tickets are sold across the server, the pot is $100,000 + $400,000 = $500,000.

Claiming your winnings

Winnings are not dropped on you at the draw. They are banked to your account, and you collect them with /claimlottery. You will see a reminder when you log in if you have unclaimed winnings waiting.

The server announces the winner and the pot to everyone when a draw resolves, and posts periodic reminders in chat while a lottery is running.
