Accessing Dungeons

The dungeon world holds 35 themed dungeons that you unlock in order by leveling the Dungeoneering skill. This page covers getting in: the commands, the entry requirements, and every way to earn keys. For the dungeon lists, bosses, loot, and achievements, see Dungeoneering Information, and for per-dungeon detail see each dungeon's page.

How to access

Command What it does
/dungeons or /d Open the dungeon browser
/dungeonleave or /leavedungeon Leave the dungeon you are in
/frozencrystal Toggle the Frozen Crystal recruit boost for your next recruit this run
/dungeonsell or /ds Open the recruit sell menu
/dungeonnotifications Toggle on-screen dungeon reminders

To enter a dungeon you need its matching entry key in your inventory, you must have cleared the previous dungeon, and your Dungeoneering level must meet the requirement. The browser shows each dungeon's level requirement.

Getting keys

Dungeon Key Every dungeon has its own entry key, a silver key named after its dungeon (for example, "Lava Pit Dungeon Key"). Entering consumes one key from your inventory. Right-clicking any dungeon key outside the dungeon world opens the dungeon browser.

Typed dungeon keys, from dust

Wild Pokemon that drop dust are your key printers. Whenever a defeated wild Pokemon's drops include dust, there is a 1 in 10 chance the dust converts into the matching typed dungeon key. The catch: the key only lands if your Dungeoneering level meets that dungeon's requirement. Too low, and the roll still consumes the dust and you get nothing, so leveling Dungeoneering turns that loss into keys. Keys go straight to your inventory.

Wild legendaries, mythicals, and Ultra Beasts skip the roll entirely: every defeat pays the typed key matching their dust, no roll, no level check, and they keep the dust too. On top of that, a legendary with its own dungeon also drops that dungeon's key on every defeat, as long as your Dungeoneering level meets its requirement. The full list is in the next section.

Legendary dungeon keys, from their legendary

Each legendary dungeon's key drops from defeating its own boss legendary in the wild. One gate applies: your Dungeoneering level must meet the dungeon's requirement. Meet it and every defeat of that legendary pays the key straight to your inventory.
