Woodcutting Skill¶
Train Woodcutting by chopping logs and other wood blocks. Every wood type has a required Woodcutting level and a fixed XP yield, and you only earn XP from blocks the server has not already tracked as placed or previously broken.
Earning Woodcutting XP¶
Wood types unlock in a ladder, each worth more than the last:

Pixelmon Berry Logs count as level 1, and the Ultra Space woods sit between levels 63 and 77.
Prestiging Woodcutting lowers the XP you earn afterward by 5 percent per prestige rank.
Where to train¶
Woodcutting sits at the southeast of the Skill World hub ring, with trees you can chop hands-off for XP, from Oak (level 1, 50 XP) up to Cherry (level 95, 5,000 XP). Felled trees regrow 15 seconds later. See Skill World Trees for the full tree list and how the grind works. You can also chop anywhere in the overworld, Nether, or End.
Perks by level¶
Every Woodcutting perk unlocked from level 1 to 99, straight from the in-game progression menu. Most levels unlock a new wood type you earn XP from; the key, Minecraft XP, multi-chop, and spawn perks are called out. Levels not listed grant no new perk.

The multi-chop cooldown shortens as you level: 3 minutes at 45, 2 minutes at 70, 1 minute at 90, and 30 seconds at 99. Beyond the menu text, chopped blocks have about a 1 in 500 chance to turn up a Chest, mushroom blocks have a 10% chance to drop a gem (level 60), and the level-90 Chorus Plant Alakazam spawns at about 1 in 1,000 (1 in 500 of those Shiny).
Prestige Perks¶
At level 99 you can prestige Woodcutting up to 10 times, earning one permanent perk per prestige. See the Woodcutting prestige table for context.

Quests, jobs, and lamps¶
- Skill quests include one-time, timed, collection, and milestone Woodcutting challenges.
- The Woodcutting job pays you for the wood you chop on top of the XP.
- Experience lamps can be spent to grant a chunk of Woodcutting XP directly.
Highscores¶
The Woodcutting highscore board, ranking players by total Woodcutting experience, stands in the city plaza and refreshes automatically.
