Player Settings

Player Settings is your personal customization hub. From one menu you can color your name and chat, equip titles (including a custom one), turn on cosmetic particle effects, and decide exactly which server notifications and sounds reach you. Most cosmetic options are tied to donation ranks, but the notification and sound controls are open to everyone.

How to access

Open the hub any time with /settings. You can also reach it from the main server menu: run /menu, then click the Player Settings button.

Inside the hub, a single row of buttons leads to each area:

Button What it opens
Name Color Color your name in chat and the tab list
Chat Color Color the text of your chat messages
Titles Equip earned titles, clear a title, or set a custom one
Particle Effects Unlock and equip cosmetic particles and their patterns
Notification Settings Choose which broadcasts and messages you see
Sound Settings Choose which server sound effects you hear
Claim Manager Manage your land claims

Rank requirements at a glance

Several cosmetic options require a donation rank. The buttons stay visible either way, so you can always see what is available.

Option Requirement
Name color (solid) Poke rank or better
Name gradient Ultra rank or better
Chat color Great rank or better
Custom title Ultra rank or better
Donation chat icon Beast rank or better

Name color

The Name Color picker offers 28 solid colors, shown as colored panes with the color name written in that color. Selecting one recolors your name in chat and the tab list. A Reset to White option returns your name to plain white.

The available solid colors are: White, Silver, Red, Crimson, Salmon, Coral, Orange, Amber, Gold, Yellow, Chartreuse, Lime, Green, Mint, Spring, Teal, Cyan, Sky, Azure, Cornflower, Periwinkle, Lavender, Violet, Magenta, Pink, Rose, Peach, and Tan.

At Ultra rank or better, a Gradients button opens a browser of gradient presets, each previewed in its own colors. Picking a gradient gives your whole name a smooth color fade instead of a single solid color.

Chat color

The Chat Color picker uses the same 28 color palette as name colors, and sets the color your chat messages appear in for everyone. Reset to White returns your chat to the default. Chat color requires the Great rank or better.

Titles

The Titles menu lists every title you can equip, each shown with its own coloring and, where it has one, its chat glyph. Unlocked titles can be applied or removed with a click; locked titles show a hint for how to unlock them, often through achievements and other milestones. A Clear Title button removes whatever you have equipped.

Custom titles

At Ultra rank or better, the Custom Title button lets you type your own title in chat. The rules:

  • The title must be 3 to 16 characters.
  • Color codes are stripped out.
  • Names that must be earned (existing earned or staff titles) cannot be used as a custom title, so nobody can impersonate them.

Once accepted, you pick a gradient (or plain white) to color your custom title, and it is applied.

Donation chat icon

Beast rank or better unlocks a Donation Icon picker, reached from inside the Titles menu. It replaces the rank icon shown beside your name in chat with any of roughly 40 balls. Most are free to pick once you have the rank; a few carry extra requirements:

Icon Requirement
Master Ball Master rank
Park Ball Gilded rank
GS Ball Gilded rank

A Reset to Rank Icon option restores your normal rank icon.

Particle effects

The Particle Effects menu holds 21 cosmetic effects plus 7 display patterns. You can have one effect and one pattern active at a time. Effects unlock permanently, in one of two ways:

  • Right-click that effect's token to open a confirm menu; confirming consumes one token and unlocks the effect forever.
  • Buy it directly in the menu for 40 DPoints.

Two effects are special:

  • Ghost cannot be bought with DPoints. It only unlocks by redeeming a Ghostly Token from the Ghost Merchant.
  • Omni cycles through all the other effects. It unlocks only after you own every other effect except Ghost (Ghost is not required), either by purchase for 40 DPoints or by redeeming an Omni Token.

The 21 effects are: Flame, Drip, Forest, Psychic, Rainbow, Cryptic, Flower, Explosive, Toxic, Boulder, Muddy, Metal, Draco, Pest, Aerial, Snowy, Shadow, Pink, Spark, Ghost, and Omni.

Display patterns

Once an effect is active, you can change the shape it displays in. Patterns cannot be changed until you have an effect equipped.

Pattern Look
Default The effect's classic look
Swirl A stream spiraling up and down around you
Geyser Erupting spouts around you
Ring A circle orbiting your feet
Halo A ring floating above your head
Hybrid Swirl Two streams flowing in opposite directions
Matrix Digital rain falling behind you in the effect's color

Clicking your active effect again disables it and returns the pattern to Default.

Notification settings

The Notification Settings menu lets you turn individual server broadcasts and recurring messages on or off. Every category defaults to on. Tiles show green when enabled and red when disabled, and Enable All and Disable All buttons flip everything at once. Important server messages (restarts, staff actions, direct consequences, your own purchase and claim confirmations, and clan invites) always deliver and are never listed here.

Categories are grouped roughly like this:

Group Examples
Special spawns and catches Shiny, legendary, ghost, boss, and alpha spawn and catch broadcasts, with odds
Events and boards Outbreaks, Hunts, Lottery, Chat Games, server events
Rare finds Wonder Trade results, pack and gacha pulls, treasure finds
Combat World and PvM bosses, boss raids, dungeon raids, Warzone, battle feats, ranked battles
Progression Battle Pass tier-ups, Game Corner jackpots, clan level-ups, skill milestones, rank-ups
Token broadcasts Legendary Tokens, Time Flutes, Wind Wakers, Legend and Supreme Event Tokens, Outbreak Tokens, Party Room
Personal messages Server tips, achievements, skill finds, quests and jobs, catch combo, XP bar, login streaks, market notices, clan feed

Sound settings

The Sound Settings menu works the same way, with Enable All and Disable All buttons and green or red tiles. Each category defaults to on.

Category Covers
Menu Sounds Click and feedback sounds in server menus
Level-Up Jingle The skill level-up sound
Crate & Pack Sounds Mystery chest, pack opening, and slot machine sounds
PvM Combat Sounds PvM mob, special, spell, bow, and staff sound effects
Battle Machine Sounds Battle machine ambience and effects
Broadcast Sounds Sounds attached to server announcements
Reward Chimes Jackpot, loot, and job-complete reward dings

Enable All and Disable All also cover three more sound groups that have no tile of their own: World Effects, Region Music, and Chest Shop Sounds. To toggle those, use the Enable All or Disable All button.
