Skill World Trees

The Skill World woodcutting area, in the southeast of the hub ring, holds trees you can chop hands-off to train Woodcutting. They work like the mining nodes: stand still, look at the tree, and keep chopping forever.

How trees work

Left-click a log with an axe to start chopping. A progress bar fills over ten segments, then the chop completes and the next one starts automatically. Trees never run out of logs: a session only ends when you move, look away, swap tools, the axe breaks, or your inventory fills (the AFK Overflow perk lifts that last limit).

  • Logs land on a fraction of chops, and the XP arrives with the log. Empty chops are silent; the per-hour log and XP rates are tuned to match the old chop-every-log pace.
  • Speed depends on your axe. Netherite is three times faster than anything else; every Pixelmon axe chops at the diamond rate. Efficiency shortens each segment by 8 percent per level. Full speed and durability charts are on Pixelmon Tools.
  • Durability drains about 2 per chop on any axe (netherite lasts about 1,000 chops). The AFK Efficiency perk can eliminate the drain. Each log is a single chop, so the overworld multi-chop perk does not apply here.
  • Poke Balls turn up while you chop, exactly like overworld woodcutting: higher trees find them more often, and about 1 find in 200 is a Master or Park Ball jackpot. The Seeker enchant raises the find rate, and the Found Ball Storage perk (Woodcutting 35) banks finds straight into your Poke Bags.
  • Skill Points accrue every chop, from about 50 per hour on Oak up to about 1,000 per hour on Cherry.

Look at a tree to pop a floating label showing its name and required Woodcutting level, colored green if you meet it and red if you do not.

Tree types

Each tree type has a required Woodcutting level. XP arrives bundled with the log drops; the base values below set each tree's relative worth, and your real rate scales with the AFK XP Boost perk (unboosted training runs at one sixth of the tier V rate).

Tree Woodcutting level Base XP
Oak 1 50
Spruce 10 100
Birch 20 150
Jungle 30 200
Acacia 40 250
Dark Oak 50 888
Mangrove 60 1,000
Cherry 95 5,000

The area spawns at least two trees of every type, then fills the rest of its spots with a weighted mix (about 40 percent Oak). Prestiging Woodcutting lowers the XP you earn afterward by 5 percent per prestige rank.
