Candies

Candies are single-use items you feed to your own Pokemon. Each one changes the Pokemon in a different way, from raising a single stat to setting its level or its look. To use any of these candies, hold it and right-click your own Pokemon (either the one you have sent out or a party member). Only the owner can feed a Pokemon, and none of these candies work on Ditto.

The candies at a glance

Candy What it does
Epic Candy Raises one chosen IV by +1
Ghostly Candy Gives the Pokemon the ghost palette
Ghost Juice Adds or resets EVs
Legend Candy Sets the Pokemon to level 100
Ultimate Candy Full IV, EV, ability, nature, and level editor

Epic Candy

Feeding an Epic Candy opens a small picker where you choose one stat (HP, Attack, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense, or Speed). Each candy raises that stat's IV by +1, consuming one candy per point. The Pokemon must have at least one IV below the maximum of 31, and a stat already at 31 cannot be raised further. There is no level or tier restriction.

Ghostly Candy

A Ghostly Candy repaints your Pokemon in the server-exclusive ghost palette. It only works on a Pokemon that does not already have the ghost look. After feeding it, send the Pokemon out again for the new look to appear. There is no level or tier restriction.

Ghost Juice

Ghost Juice is an EV editor. Its menu has two rows:

  • The top row fills a chosen stat's EVs. One Ghost Juice takes that stat as high as it can go in a single use, to the 252 cap or to whatever room is left under the 510 total.
  • The bottom row resets a chosen stat's EVs back to 0.

Each action consumes one Ghost Juice. The usual EV rules apply: a maximum of 252 in any one stat and a total of 510 across all stats.

Legend Candy

A Legend Candy instantly sets the Pokemon to level 100. It only works on a Pokemon that is not already level 100, and only on Pokemon that can normally use Rare Candy. Shadow and higher-tier Pokemon (Shadow, Corrupt, Void, Abyss, Eternal, Infinity) are not eligible.

Ultimate Candy

The Ultimate Candy opens a full stat editor in one menu. Nothing changes until you press CONFIRM, and the candy is only spent when you confirm. You can set:

  • IVs: each stat from 0 to 31.
  • EVs: each stat from 0 to 252, capped at 510 total.
  • Ability: cycle through the Pokemon's available abilities.
  • Nature: cycle through all 25 natures.
  • Level: an optional toggle that raises the Pokemon to level 100 on confirm.

Like the Legend Candy, the Ultimate Candy cannot be used on Shadow or higher-tier Pokemon.

Rare Candies, Exp Candies, and tiers

Standard Pixelmon candies follow tier rules of their own:

  • Rare Candy, Rare Soda, and Ultra Rare Soda only work on normal (non-tiered) Pokemon.
  • Exp Candies (XS, S, M, L, XL) work on any Pokemon except Shadow-tier Pokemon, which cannot gain experience until they are purified. Corrupt and higher tiers accept Exp Candies and also keep earning battle experience past level 100, up to their raised level cap.

See Shadow Pokemon and Tiers for the full tier ladder and level caps.
