Pokemon Hunts

Pokemon Hunts are rotating catch bounties. The board always has 21 hunts live at once: 7 tiers with 3 variants each. Every hunt names a target species and a set of conditions the Pokemon must meet. Catch one that qualifies and you claim the reward instantly.

How to access

Open the board with /hunts (aliases /hunt, /pokehunt, /pixelhunt). The board is view only: it shows the target species, the requirements, and the rewards for all 21 active hunts.

When a wild Pokemon that matches any live hunt target spawns near you, it burns with flame particles so you can spot it in the world.

Tiers

The board is laid out as one column per tier, from Common on the left to Supreme on the right, with each tier's three variants stacked vertically. Higher tiers demand a better catch and pay more, but they also refresh more slowly.

Tier Catch requirement Refresh cycle Cash reward Item reward
Common Any catch of the target counts 60 min $5,000 1 Mystery Key
Uncommon Total IVs 50% or better 90 min $7,500 3 Mystery Keys
Rare Total IVs 75% or better 120 min $15,000 1 Shiny Mystery Key
Epic At least one perfect (31) IV 240 min $50,000 3 Shiny Mystery Keys
Legendary A specific perfect (31) IV stat 720 min $100,000 5 Shiny Mystery Keys
Ultimate A specific nature plus two specific perfect (31) IV stats 1440 min none 1 Master Ball, 5 Texture Keys
Supreme Shiny, 3 perfect (31) IVs, and a specific nature 2880 min none 1 Supreme Shiny Goo, 5 Supreme Keys

The exact stat, nature, and shiny conditions for Legendary, Ultimate, and Supreme are shown in each hunt's tile, so read the requirements before you commit to a catch.

Variants

The three variants inside a tier are three independent hunt slots. Each rolls its own target species (no species ever appears twice across the whole board), and for the higher tiers each rolls its own required stats and nature. The variants start on staggered timers set at one third, two thirds, and a full cycle, so they do not all expire at the same moment.

How targets are chosen

Targets are random species. Legendaries, mythicals, and Ultra Beasts are excluded, and no two hunts on the board share a species. When a hunt expires or is completed, its slot immediately rolls a fresh target on a full timer.

Claiming

You claim a hunt by catching the target, not by defeating it. The caught Pokemon must be the right species and meet that tier's requirement. Each catch completes at most one hunt: the game checks from Supreme downward and awards the best hunt your catch qualifies for. Rewards are paid straight to your balance and inventory (dropped at your feet if your bags are full).

Tip

A single great catch can only ever claim one hunt, so if your Pokemon qualifies for several tiers at once you get the highest one. Line up separate catches for the lower tiers.

  • Catching: landing the catch that claims a hunt.
  • Mystery Chests: what Mystery Keys and Shiny Mystery Keys open.
  • Money Making: where hunt payouts fit in.
  • Outbreaks: another way species get highlighted in the world.
  • Pokedex: track the species you are hunting.
