Hard Boss Zone

The Hard Boss Zone is the endgame arena in the Skill World. It is a multi-stage raid: clear five giant legendary mini-bosses, then take down a level 500 Arceus as the main boss. Unlike the Easy and Medium zones, there is no soul collection to start it, the mini-bosses are already standing when you arrive.

Getting in

You need Battling level 80 to enter, the highest gate of the three zones. Step on the Hard entrance pad in the boss lobby to teleport inside; the paired pad within the arena brings you back out. The exit pad is never gated. Stepping on the entrance pad below level 80 refuses you and shows a requirement board.

Stage 1: the five mini-bosses

When the zone activates, 5 mini-bosses spawn as giant statues around the arena, each drawn from a different one of 18 Pokemon types. To start a fight, throw a Poke Ball at a mini-boss statue and your battle against it begins.

Each mini-boss is level 200 with a shared pool of 10,000 HP. The five are chosen at random from these type pools (one random species per selected type):

Mini-boss rewards

Every player who damaged a mini-boss is paid when it falls:

Reward Amount
PokeDollars 2,000
Battling XP 5,000
Mega Stone 1 in 10 (only when that mini-boss is a Mega form)

Stage 2: Arceus

Once all five mini-bosses are down and their souls have reached the crystal, the crystal turns black, a sphere sweeps out across the arena, and Arceus Arceus rises at the center as the main boss. It fights at level 500 with a shared pool of 40,000 HP. Walk within 20 blocks of Arceus and your battle begins automatically.

How the fights work

Every stage uses the same shared-HP group mechanic:

  • Everyone battles the same giant boss at once, and all damage drains its single shared HP pool.
  • Joining mid-fight, the boss is already at whatever health the crowd has worn it down to: a boss at 30% is at 30% for you too. The Arceus HUD shows exact current and max HP.
  • After a battle ends you get a 10-second cooldown before you can be pulled back in.
  • There is no time limit on the Hard zone; you clear it at your own pace.

When Arceus is defeated the arena is restored and a fresh set of five mini-bosses respawns, so the raid loops.

Arceus rewards

Arceus rewards are ranked by total damage dealt. Every participant is paid; the top 3 also roll the best reward table on the server.
