Legendary Spawns¶
The server runs its own Legendary spawn attempts on a timer. Every so often it tries to drop a wild Legendary on one lucky, eligible player. You can watch the countdown, see your personal odds after each attempt, and even pull the timer forward with items.
The spawn timer¶
A Legendary spawn attempt fires roughly every 20 minutes. During a Legendary Event the interval drops to about 10 minutes. When the timer elapses, the server picks one eligible player and rolls to place a wild Legendary near them.
The countdown survives server restarts: the timer is saved and resumes where it left off, so a restart does not reset your wait.
Only players in the Overworld, Nether, or End are eligible to receive a Legendary spawn. Players in other worlds are quietly skipped for that attempt.
The tab-list countdown¶
The tab list footer shows a live Next Legend countdown in MM:SS, refreshed about once a second. Open your tab list to see how long until the next attempt.
Attempt broadcasts and [View Your Odds!]¶
When an attempt fires, the server announces "The Server attempted a Legendary Spawn!" Every announcement includes a clickable [View Your Odds!] in aqua. Hovering it shows your odds from that pass, listed per species as a "1 in X chance", based on what could have spawned where you were standing.
Your listed odds already account for the number of eligible players online (each attempt picks one eligible player at random) and the server's configured spawn success chance, so they shift as players log in and out.
If you were somewhere a Legendary could not spawn, the hover tells you so, and if nothing could spawn at your exact location it says that too. You can also check what is spawnable around you at any time with /checkspawns legendary.
The Legendary Token¶
A Legendary Token pulls the next attempt forward. Right-click it and confirm:
- The next Legendary spawn attempt is pulled down to 30 seconds.
- There is a 60 second cooldown between tosses.
- If an attempt is already due within 30 seconds, the token is not spent.
Using a token broadcasts to everyone that you tossed a Legendary Token and a Legendary Pokemon will attempt to spawn in 30 seconds.
Boss-defeat attempts¶
Defeating boss Pokemon across the server builds toward a bonus attempt. Progress is announced at 10, 20, and 30 bosses, and at 40 bosses the counter resets and the server announces it will attempt a Legendary spawn in one minute. That forced attempt is announced as being "because 40 Boss Pokemon were defeated."
PokeParties and extra Legendaries¶
A PokeParty does not touch the server timer. Instead, tossing a PokeParty Token floods the Party Room with 25 wild Pokemon, and each of those spawns independently has about a 1 in 222 chance to be a Legendary and a 1 in 667 chance to be mythical-tier (Mythicals plus the strongest box Legendaries: Mewtwo, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Kyurem, Zygarde, and Necrozma). It is a separate, extra source of Legendaries on top of the timer. See PokeParty Token for the full details.
