Pufferfish¶
Pufferfish is a base catch on the server's Fishing ladder. It bites from the very first cast in Warm Ocean.
Where to fish¶
| Biomes | Warm Ocean |
| Fishing level | None (available from level 0) |
| Catch XP | 100 |
Fish only bite in the right biome. Casting where Pufferfish does not live reels up junk instead, so check the biome pages above for where to go. Each biome page also lists the Pokemon you can hook there.
Gutting¶
Gutting a Pufferfish (shift + right-click) has a rare chance to produce a Master Ball, announced server-wide, and otherwise hands you a random Poke Ball. Fishing prestige improves those odds and can turn the prize into a Park Ball. See the Fishing page for the prestige ladder.
Cooking uses¶
Pufferfish is not used in any cooking recipe.
Fishing Compendium¶
Pufferfish is a Fish entry on the Warm Ocean page in the Fishing Compendium (/fishingdex). Reeling one in records your best weight and ticks it off that biome's checklist; filling a whole biome pays a one-time reward.
