Medium Boss Zone

The Medium Boss Zone is the second of the three shared boss arenas in the Skill World. It works like the Easy zone but demands four different soul types, and every boss it summons is a Mega Evolution.

Getting in

You need Battling level 40 to enter. Step on the Medium entrance pad in the boss lobby to teleport inside; the paired pad within the arena brings you back out. The exit pad is never gated. Stepping on the entrance pad below level 40 refuses you and shows a requirement board.

Charging the crystal

Wild Pokemon spawn inside the arena and roll boss tier at double the normal rate (1 in 125). Each defeat releases a colored soul that flies to the central crystal. Unlike the Easy zone, the Medium crystal needs four soul types filled, 10 of each, for 40 souls total:

Soul type Color
Band Red
Scarf Light blue
Specs Orange
Sash Purple

Defeated wilds top up whichever type still needs souls. When all four types hit 10, the summoning animation plays and the boss appears.

The boss

Every Medium boss is a Mega Evolution at level 60 with a shared pool of 5,000 HP, perfect 31 IVs, and a set moveset. One is picked at random from this pool of 10:

Boss (Mega) Ability
Alakazam Alakazam Trace
Gengar Gengar Shadow Tag
Heracross Heracross Skill Link
Kangaskhan Kangaskhan Parental Bond
Mawile Mawile Huge Power
Gardevoir Gardevoir Pixilate
Gallade Gallade Inner Focus
Aggron Aggron Filter
Scizor Scizor Technician
Absol Absol Magic Bounce

How the fight works

The fight uses the same shared-HP group mechanic as the Easy zone:

  • Walk within 10 blocks of the boss and you are pulled straight into battle with it.
  • All your damage drains one shared 5,000 HP pool, and your hits are announced to the other battlers.
  • Joining mid-fight sets your copy to the boss's current HP percentage.
  • The fight has a 15-minute time limit (900 seconds). If it expires the boss flees and that attempt pays nothing.
  • A 10-second cooldown applies after each battle ends before you can be pulled back in.

Rewards

Rewards are ranked by total damage dealt. Every participant is paid and receives the boss species' Mega Stone; the top 3 also roll the rare table.

Payout by rank

Rank PokeDollars Battling XP
1st 25,000 12,000
2nd 15,000 8,000
3rd 10,000 5,000
Everyone else 5,000 3,000

Every participant, regardless of rank, also gets the Mega Stone matching the boss that was beaten.

Rare rolls (top 3 only)

Each item is rolled independently. The odds below are 1st-place odds; 2nd place rolls at denominator x2 and 3rd place at denominator x4. Winning one is broadcast server-wide. The Medium zone has no pity reward.
