Berry Field¶
The berry field, at the south of the Skill World hub ring, is where you train Gathering by harvesting berries and apricorns. The /berry warp takes you straight there.
Harvesting¶
Walk up to a ripe berry or apricorn tree with an empty main hand and right-click it. Only mature plants can be picked. Each berry has its own required Gathering level, and you only earn XP from berries at or above your level.
- Berry XP is the berry's required level times 10. Berries run from Pomeg (level 2, 20 XP) up to Starf (level 98, 980 XP), so higher-level berries are worth far more.
- Apricorns are all level 1 and pay 10 XP each.
Prestiging Gathering lowers the XP you earn afterward by 5 percent per prestige rank.
Extra drops¶
As you level, harvests start giving more than one berry or apricorn per pick:
| Gathering level | Extra-drop chance |
|---|---|
| 10 to 39 | 25% chance for one extra |
| 40 to 79 | 50% chance for one extra |
| 80+ | double every harvest |
At level 20 and above, harvests can also turn up a Mystery Key (0.2 percent at level 20, climbing to 1 percent at level 99) and a Poke Ball (1 percent), which has its own Master Ball chance (about 1 in 333, announced server-wide).
Prestige perks¶
At level 99 you can prestige Gathering up to 10 times. Notable perks tied to the berry field:
- EV Juice (prestige 2 for 1 percent, prestige 7 for 2 percent): picking one of the six EV-lowering berries (Pomeg, Kelpsy, Qualot, Hondew, Grepa, Tamato) can also drop the matching Pixelmon Juice, worth 32 EVs.
- Adjacent harvest (prestige 4 for 5 percent, prestige 9 for 10 percent): a pick can auto-harvest every other ripe berry and apricorn in the surrounding 3x3x3 space.
- Triple yields: prestige 8 triples berries and prestige 3 triples apricorns, stacking with the level-based extra drops above.
See the Gathering prestige table for the full list.
Magnetic Hoe¶
The dungeon-reward Magnetic Hoe (Dungeon Items and Drops) auto-harvests every ripe berry and apricorn in a 5-block radius around the block you right-click, granting the same Gathering rewards as picking each by hand. It works in the overworld only, not inside dungeons, and has a short cooldown.
