EV Juice Making Guide

EV juices are the fastest way to power-train a Pokemon's stats. Each juice grants 32 Effort Values in one stat the moment a Pokemon drinks it, no battling required. Eight juices max out a single stat (252 EVs), and you can bank 510 EVs total across all stats.

On PixelmonMMO every juice you make comes out at maximum potency (32 EVs), and they all start with berries from the Berry Field.

The six juices

Each juice raises the stat that its source berry lowers. Feeding a Pokemon the raw berry removes 10 EVs from that stat (and raises friendship); the juice is the reverse.

Juice Stat raised Source berry Gathering level
Purple Juice HP Pomeg Berry 2
Red Juice Attack Kelpsy Berry 3
Yellow Juice Defense Qualot Berry 5
Blue Juice Special Attack Hondew Berry 7
Green Juice Special Defense Grepa Berry 9
Pink Juice Speed Tamato Berry 11

All six berries grow in the Berry Field (warp there with /berry) and sit low on the Gathering level ladder, so even fresh gatherers can start juicing.

Method 1: the Juicer

The Juicer sells for 10,000 Skill Points in the Gathering row of the Skilling Store. Carry it in either hand while picking berries and every berry you gather fills it instead of your inventory (apricorns do not count). At 100 berries it squeezes out a juice, and any leftover fill carries into the next batch.

The roll is weighted by what you fed it: each EV berry pushes the roll toward its own juice, while every other berry counts evenly across all six. So the recipe for a specific juice is simple:

  1. Decide which stat you want, and find its berry in the table above.
  2. Head to the Berry Field with the Juicer in hand.
  3. Pick only that berry until the Juicer is full.

A Juicer fed nothing but Tamato Berries will almost always pour out Pink Juice. Mixed harvests still make juice, just less predictably.

Extra-drop bonuses count toward the fill, so high Gathering levels (double harvests at level 80+), the Magnetic Hoe, and the triple-yield prestige perks all fill the Juicer faster.

Method 2: prestige juice drops

Once you prestige Gathering, picking an EV berry has a chance to drop its matching juice directly alongside the berry:

  • Prestige 2: 1 percent chance per EV berry picked
  • Prestige 7: 2 percent chance per EV berry picked

This stacks with the Juicer. A prestiged gatherer holding a Juicer is filling it with every pick and rolling for bonus juice on the same berries.

Method 3: buy from other players

Juices can be listed and bought on the Grand Exchange, so if you would rather pay than pick, watch the listings. They only fetch $50 from sell hands, so drinking or trading them always beats vendoring them.

Vitamins, the +10 EV cousins

If you have battle berries to spare, the Infuser brews the classic vitamins instead: 10 of a stat berry plus the matching wing makes HP Up, Protein, Iron, Calcium, Zinc, or Carbos. Each vitamin grants 10 EVs, so juices are still the better deal when you can get them.

Using your juice

Right-click a Pokemon with the juice to feed it. The 252 per-stat and 510 total EV caps apply as normal, so a typical spread is eight juices in one stat, eight in another, and battling (or the Training Area) for the last few points.
