Dungeon Boss¶
The Pokemon that guard a dungeon. Instead of roaming, they stand as statues that come to life when you approach. Each run has a handful of mini-bosses and one main boss.
How the fight works¶
Everyone in the dungeon battles the same boss at once, and all your damage drains its single shared HP pool, so the group wears it down together. Boss and mini-boss levels are set per dungeon, so the early dungeons stay low level and the later ones climb.
Getting in and the loot¶
Entering a dungeon costs that dungeon's own key, and you also need enough Dungeoneering skill to unlock it. Dungeons unlock in order, and each one asks for 2 more Dungeoneering levels than the last: the first opens at level 1, the second at level 3, the third at level 5, and so on up to level 67. The Moon, the final dungeon, is the exception at level 70. Every dungeon's exact level is listed on its page.
Each dungeon has three loot tiers. The boss chest rolls a rarity from Common up to Supreme that scales how many items you get and your chance at Tier 2 and Tier 3 pulls (a Supreme roll guarantees a Tier 3 drop). The Tier 3 slot is the prize: early dungeons hand out Shiny Mystery Keys (more per dungeon as you go), the mid dungeons switch to Texture Keys, and the final dungeons drop a Supreme Key.
