Ominous Bottle¶
A vanilla Minecraft 1.21 item. Drink it to give yourself the Bad Omen effect. On this server, Bad Omen is the key that unlocks trial chamber bosses, village raids, and snaggable Shadow Pokemon.
What it does¶
Right-click to drink the bottle and apply Bad Omen to yourself. The strength of the effect depends on the bottle: each Ominous Bottle carries a stored amplifier, and drinking it grants Bad Omen at that level. The bottle is consumed when you drink it.
Where it comes from¶
The server's main source of Ominous Bottles is trial chamber vaults:

In vanilla Minecraft, Ominous Bottles are found in the ominous vaults of trial chambers.
What Bad Omen enables here¶
While you carry Bad Omen, the server's vanilla content systems come alive:
- Trial chambers: any trial spawner within 24 blocks of you becomes ominous, upgrading its boss to Epic or Ultimate tier and its key to an Ominous Trial Key.
- Villages: stepping into a village starts a raid. Armed NPCs chase you, trainer NPCs force battles, and 30% of raid trainers carry a snaggable Shadow Pokemon.
- Village loot: opening a village chest while you carry Bad Omen gives double loot.
