Cow¶
A block-sized cow that moos encouragingly.
How to get it¶
Every time you feed a cow (1 in 50,000), or land the final blow on one in combat or with the Leaf Staff (1 in 5,000), you have a chance to earn this pet - wild, ranch, and Cow Spawner animals all count. Earning it is broadcast server-wide, and it never rolls once you own it.
Mooshrooms count too: defeating or feeding one rolls for this same pet, delivered pre-skinned in its mooshroom variant.
Care and feeding¶
Hunger runs from 100 to 0 over about four days. One food from the pool below is the pet's daily favorite (it rotates every day): favorites restore 40 hunger, everything else restores 15. Mood climbs while the pet stays well fed (hunger 60+) and slowly sinks when it is hungry; building a top mood takes real days of care, so feed it before it asks.

The perk¶
While this pet follows you, feeding cows pays out Milk Buckets at better odds the happier it is: from the base 1 in 10 down to 1 in 5 at maximum mood.
It has a second perk too: defeating cows with a weapon (the Leaf Staff and Leaf Axe do not count) has a chance to drop one bonus raw meat, scaling with its happiness from a 10% floor up to guaranteed at 100% mood - wild animals and Cow Spawner animals both count.
